The Society provides a telephone helpline for its members.

This is available between 9.00 am and 9.00 pm on weekdays and between 10 am and 6 pm on weekends and bank holidays. It is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The Society apologises for any inconvenience this may cause to its members.

Because the helpline is run by volunteers, answerphones may be used at certain times. Callers who leave a message are contacted as soon as possible at the Society’s expense. Please note that we do not deal with emergencies and we are unable to give direct medical advice. In case of emergency, please call your doctor.

The Helpline number is 0345 130 7329.

The Society does not provide trained counsellors, but the Helpline provides a listening and discussion service.
